Tonight, in #generalKeeperBotsToday in #general โ 380 messages, 24 people
๐ Decided: the event moves to Saturday.
๐ฌ Most of the day: the new roles, and who gets mod.
โ Still open: which voice channel to use.
What it does
Every night, at the time you choose, it posts a short summary of the day in the channel you pick: what was discussed, what was decided, and what's still open.
Any time, /summary catches you up โ the last day, or /summary 3h, /summary 2d. It summarizes the channel you're in; add all for the whole server. The commands are real slash commands, so they show up in Discord's picker.
It remembers. /ask answers from everything the server has said since the bot joined, and /decisions lists what was settled. /stats shows who's talking, and when.
Setting it up
Create an app at discord.com/developers, switch on the Message Content intent โ the step everyone misses, without it every message reaches the bot blank โ and paste its token into KeeperBots.com. The setup checks the token and the intent, and hands you an invite link that asks for exactly what the bot needs. Never administrator.
Nothing to install and no server to host. It runs for you.
What it can't do
It keeps what is said after you add it; it doesn't import a server's past.
It can't flood your channels: its own posts are capped at one every ten minutes.
Can members keep their messages out of it?+
Yes. Anyone can send /optout and their messages are left out of every summary. /optin reverses it.
Does it need admin permissions?+
No. It needs to read messages and history in the channels it summarizes, and to post where the summary goes.
Is there a free trial?+
Yes, 7 days with every feature and no card. The days start when the bot first hears your server.
