Someone to keep your group chat in order.

KeeperBots runs the bots that keep your community readable — daily digests, catch-up summaries, activity analytics and keyword tracking — so nobody has to scroll back through four hundred messages to work out what was decided.

Features

More than a summary bot

Summaries are table stakes — half a dozen bots do them. The useful part is what you can do with everything your group has already said.

Daily digest

A recap of everything that happened, posted on your schedule, in your timezone, in the topic you choose.

Catch up on demand

Ask for the last three hours, the whole week, one topic, or one person. Neutral and accurate — no jokes in this one.

Group analytics

Who is actually driving the conversation, when your group is awake, and how attention splits across topics.

Keyword tracking

Follow the words that matter to your community and see who mentioned what, how often, and when it started trending.

Roast mode

Optional. The same day's data with none of the manners. One switch turns it off if your group would rather it didn't.

Nicknames that stick

It names people for what they actually did, remembers it, and calls back to it weeks later. Anyone can shed theirs.

Privacy controls

Anyone can opt out with one command and is never named again. You choose how long messages are kept.

Never floods the chat

A hard ceiling on how often it posts, so the bot stays a guest in your group rather than a participant.

How it works

Connected in about five minutes

Bring a bot, we run it

Create a bot with Telegram's @BotFather, disable privacy mode, and add it to your group as an ordinary member. Paste the token here and we take it from there — process supervision, restarts, scheduling and upgrades are ours.

  • Nothing to install or host
  • Upgrades land without downtime
  • Your group's data in its own database
Add a bot
Create bot

Tune it without touching code

Schedule, length, house style, retention, keyword list — all of it changes from the dashboard and takes effect on the next message. Nothing to redeploy, nothing to restart.

  • Changes apply on the next message
  • Per-group tone and schedule
  • One switch pauses everything
Behaviour

Track the terms your community actually cares about.

The kill switch. Silence means silence.

In the chat

Your group never has to leave Telegram

The dashboard is for setup. Day to day, everything runs from a command where your members already are.

Questions

The things worth asking first

Does it read every message in the group?

Yes — that is how it writes summaries. Messages are stored for as long as your retention setting says (90 days by default) and then deleted automatically. Anyone in the group can send /optout: they stay out of every summary, are never named, and their messages are never sent to the model.

Does the bot need to be a group admin?

No. It works as an ordinary member. It does need privacy mode disabled in BotFather, which is what lets it see messages at all — the setup page walks through it.

Can I turn the roast off?

Yes, it's one switch, and plenty of groups run the digest and summaries without it. You can also tune length and house style per group.

Where does our data live?

On a single server, in a database dedicated to your group and no one else's. This is an honest beta: there are no off-site backups yet, so don't connect a group whose history you could not stand to lose.

Which chat platforms are supported?

Telegram groups today, including forum groups with topics. Nothing else yet.

What happens if I delete a bot?

It stops immediately and leaves your account. Your group's history is set aside rather than destroyed, so it can be brought back if you change your mind.

Point it at your group and see.

Five minutes to connect, one switch to pause, and your history leaves with you if it isn't for you.
