What this is
KeeperBots is operated by KeeperBots. By creating an account or connecting a bot you are agreeing to these terms.
Every new account starts with a free trial of 7 days, with every feature available and limited to 1 connected groups. No payment details are asked for to start it.
When the trial ends your bots stop posting. They keep logging, nothing is deleted, and your history stays available to you on the same terms as before. To keep them posting you can subscribe to a paid plan. Plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance, by card, through our payment processor Stripe, and renew until you cancel. Listed prices exclude sales tax; where tax applies it is calculated from your billing address and shown before you pay. You can cancel at any time from the billing page; the plan then runs to the end of the period already paid for and is not renewed. Payments already made are not refunded except where the law requires it. Referrals: an account that signs up through another customer's referral link gets $19 off its first payment; the customer who referred it gets a $19 credit on their next bill once that account has made a real payment, up to 12 credits. Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred, and self-referral doesn't qualify.
You can instead pay for a year in advance in USDC on the Solana network, sent from your own wallet to the address shown on the payment page. The year starts when the payment is confirmed on the network and is added on top of any prepaid time you have left. It does not renew by itself; we remind you before it ends, and when it does your bots stop posting on the same terms as the end of a trial. Send the exact amount, in USDC, on Solana: tokens sent on another network, or other tokens, may not be recoverable. Refunds, where given or required by law, are sent in USDC to the wallet the payment came from. Network fees are yours to pay.
While a trial is running, each message the bot posts in your group carries a short line saying it comes from a KeeperBots trial. That line is removed once the account is no longer on a trial.
Connected bots mention KeeperBots in their Telegram profile (the bio and the text shown before someone first messages them). On a paid plan you can replace that with your own words from the bot's Features page; during a trial, or after a plan ends, the mention stays.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think it has been compromised.
One person or organisation per account. Don't create accounts to get around the limits of the plan you are on.
Chat with the bot is described as unlimited on paid plans, subject to fair use: up to 2,000 answers a day per group on Community and 5,000 on Network. Past that the bot stops answering until the next day; nothing else about the plan changes.
Connecting a bot
You may only connect a bot to a group you own or administer, or where the administrator has asked you to. You must make sure the members of that group know the bot records and summarises their messages, and that they can opt out.
You are responsible for the bot token you provide and for the conduct of the bot inside your group.
The roast feature
This service can post a deliberately mocking daily summary. It is off unless you turn it on, and one switch turns it off again.
It writes about real people using their own words. The model is instructed not to target anyone's identity or anything they cannot change, but it is an automated system and it will sometimes get things wrong. If you enable it, you are the publisher of what it posts in your group. Review it, and turn it off if it is not right for your community.
Acceptable use
Don't use KeeperBots to harass, surveil people without their knowledge, or break the law or the platform's own terms. Don't use it to monitor people who have not been told they are being monitored.
We may suspend or remove an account that is using the service this way, and we will tell you why.
Availability
This is a beta service on a single server. There is no uptime guarantee, maintenance may interrupt it, and features may change.
We take verified backups every night, but you should not treat this service as the only home for anything you cannot lose.
Ending it
You can delete a bot or stop using the service whenever you like. Deleting a bot stops it and removes its history on the schedule described in the privacy policy.
We may close an account for a breach of these terms, or discontinue the service with reasonable notice to account holders.
Liability
The service is provided as-is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, KeeperBots is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Changes and law
We will tell account holders before these terms change in a way that materially affects them. These terms are governed by the law of the State of Texas, United States.
